Fully connected to the grid at full capacity on August 28, 2025, and entered the demonstration operation stage. Commercial operation transfer procedures were completed in December, and the project is now in preparation for market entry.

Adopting the hybrid energy storage technology route of "supercapacitor+lithium battery"

This project adopts a hybrid energy storage solution of supercapacitors + lithium batteries to build the world’s largest single-unit supercapacitor frequency regulation station. The project includes 58MW of supercapacitor storage and 42MW of lithium battery storage, with a total installed capacity of 100MW/42.5MWh. The system delivers millisecond-level response, accurately tracks grid frequency fluctuations, and provides efficient frequency regulation and grid support.
